Dr. Nekia Staley-Neither Selected as Author for, “Smile! Creating Healthy and Beautiful Smiles with Cosmetic Dentistry”

“Smile! Creating Healthy and Beautiful Smiles with Cosmetic Dentistry”, currently scheduled for release in the summer of 2020, will aim to provide patients with the most up-to-date information on state-of-the-art dental treatment. The main purpose of the book, according to Blue Ocean Publishing Group’s purchasing agent, Anna Foster, is to give patients real, practical information to help them in obtaining the best possible restorative and cosmetic dental work.

The book will feature contributions from expert dentists selected from across the country who are skilled and trained in the latest dental treatment procedures. Foster notes that “These expert dentists can provide people with all the necessary information for anyone seeking cosmetic or restorative dental treatment.”

Dr. Nekia Staley-Neither, an experienced and established dentist, owner of two dental practices in Maryland, will be contributing a chapter on teeth whitening, explaining the large variety of treatment options that are available for people looking to brighten up their smile.

Importantly, the book is being written in layman’s language that the average person can easily understand. It is intended not as a textbook for dental professionals, but as a helpful guide for ordinary people looking for top-quality dental work. The expert contributors to “Smile!” are dentists who have advanced training and skills in modern dentistry and vast experience with procedures such as implants, veneers, and orthodontics.

Dr. Nekia Staley-Neither is a native Washingtonian. She grew up with a love for caring for others with a special interest in medicine. She matriculated at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia as a pre-med Biology major. After choosing to pursue a career in dentistry she attended and graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Dr. Staley-Neither’s is committed to providing care to people of all backgrounds. She is currently a Decod Fellow at the University of Washington at Seattle where she has and continues to train to treat and accommodate mentally and physically challenged persons.

Dr. Neither has been involved with the special needs community since her elementary years. Volunteering at the Hospital for sick children and various shelters in Atlanta where she completed her undergraduate studies.

Dr. Staley-Neither is a member of the American Dental Association and National Dental Association. She is the founder and president of Special Care For Special Needs Dentistry, a non-profit organization established to serve special needs patients and their caregivers. You can also find Dr. Staley-Neither participating, sponsoring, and serving in various health fairs, dental fairs and other community service projects in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Dr. Staley-Neither owns two dental practices in Landover, MD, and in Suitland, MD.
